Transferring the IMEI no. of my old iPhone into a new one

Is it possible to transfer the IMEI no. of an unlocked iPhone 7 that I've bought in the USA, into a new unlocked one again will be bought in USA? Basically can I keep using my old IMEI number in a new phone?

No, that's not possible. The IMEI stands for International Mobile Equipment Identity. It is a unique identifier assigned to mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets to distinguish them on cellular networks. It is assigned to the device and is NOT transferrable. You can certainly transfer a phone number to a new phone, but that has nothing to do with the IMEI.
