iMessage Activation failure with Beeline eSIM (Russia, Moscow)
Hi everyone,
I’ve been trying to activate iMessage on my iPhone for the last three days, but I keep getting the same error:
“iMessage Activation — An error occurred during activation. Please try again.”
Here’s my situation:
- Carrier: Beeline (Russia, Moscow)
- Type: eSIM
- Internet connection is stable (Wi-Fi and cellular both tested)
- The phone number is displayed correctly in Settings → iMessage
- Apple ID is linked successfully
- I already tried all the official troubleshooting steps suggested by Apple Support:
- Turned iMessage and FaceTime off and on again
- Signed out and back into my Apple ID
- Restarted the iPhone multiple times
- Checked date/time and region settings (set automatically)
- Updated iOS to the latest version
- Waited over 24 hours after each attempt
But activation still fails every single time with the same error message.
I also spoke with my carrier — SMS sending works fine, but I’m not sure if the activation message to Apple’s number (+44 7786 205094) is going through.
Is there anything else I can do to get my number verified and activate iMessage?
Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
