Transparent Word program and unwanted 'Tab Group Favorites' after Tahoe download

Also would like to get rid of "Tab Group Favorites." Cannot seem to do it and I preferred my bookmarks as they were before.

Not sure what is a "Transparent Word program "...

if you are saying Microsoft Word(?) you can try change reduce transparency

you have Appearance settings, make some changes and compare your results—
