Photo access in apps

I can't change the settings for any apps to access my photos as the option is not showing

Try going to:

Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions


Check if there are any settings under Photos that are not allowed. If yes, select allow. Also check the other menu items - alternatively. Disable Content & Privacy Restrictions at the very top of the same menu.


You can also try a restart if the above doesn't fix it.

Have you had those apps open? Normally when you open an app that wants to access your photos, the app will ask, and only after the app has asked will the photo permissions setting be available in the menu.


You can also try going to:

Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos. Can you see your apps there?
