In your Health Summary dashboard, upper left corner is an edit button. Unpin “sleep score” and replace it with just “sleep” by scrolling all the way to the bottom of the list. For now this is the best solution to getting that ridiculous number that is wildly inaccurate and doesn’t truly represent your quality of sleep out of your face.
Apple has received a lot of criticism from users and the tech world alike over the wild inaccuracy of this “score” and how it made a big deal about it with its launch but didn’t actually add any new data points to track or factor in vitals or energy over the course of the day. With so much of our data at their fingertips (like it or hate it) they can and should do better.
In reality it’s a sleep consistency score, not a quality score so it’s no wonder many users find it distracting. I personally find it offensive: “you scored a 96!” Like I’m supposed to celebrate even though I’m still exhausted. -.- Definitely send them feedback and for now unpin the score and repin the original sleep.
Hope this helps.
