macOS 26.1: Menu Bar Bluetooth Icon Toggles ON/OFF with Trackpad 'Tap' Instead of 'Click'

When I lightly 'tap' on the trackpad, instead of showing information about the Bluetooth device, a pop-up appears asking if I want to turn off Bluetooth.

With default settings, there should be no difference between click and tap:

Make some changes in System Settings > Trackpad, turn off/on tap-to-click, adjust the force setting.

If no effect, see if the problem is present when you boot in safe mode, which disables 3rd party extensions and performs some system cleanup.

I think this problem is an OS problem. If you change the position of the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar, this problem will not occur. And if you put the WiFi button in the corresponding position, the WiFi will toggle.

That sounds like a poorly made third-party Status Menu Item causing problems with the Status Menu area.

What position in the bar does it occur and what is next to it?
