17 pro max battery draining fast

I have the 17 pro max less than a week and I’ve noticed the battery drains quite fast even when not doing much, for example I’ve been using my laptop for the last hour, I picked up my phone it had dropped from 60% to 58% while idle and only 1-2 notifications, I then scrolled through instagram for about 5 minutes and the battery decreased to 54%, I’m using wifi , brightness is about 50% and bluetooth is off aswell as background app refresh, is this a normal decrease? the phone is marketed as 37 hours video playback yet I’m usually charging 1-2x daily when not doing much other than scrolling instagram or watching netflix , when using bluetooth headphones and barely looking at the screen the phone can lose 10% in about 30 minutes
