"tinted" option in 26.1 and liquid glass removal.

The new updated version finally fixed the text options of the lock screen notifications. Now the issue is that it now reverts the text on the home screen widgets to an exceptionally hard to look at bright white, which doesn't match the rest of the font on the phone. Is there an option to just turn off liquid glass? There was a rumor that battery drain should go away after a few days of using ios 26, but after having it since release day 1 liquid glass or ios 26 made the battery life worse and its not getting any better. I'm not sure what to do at this point, my phone is older but its getting harder to use with this update, and none of these issues were present with older version of ios 18. The long term support is great, at this point however, this specific update is destroying the phones functionality with no one being able to help.

Same. The new UX is extremely frustrating for me and visually distracting.

Too much movement and I like having things hidden to reduce the visual stimuli.

Also now when keyboard opens it does this weird ‘expansion’ animation that is also distracting.

Took me a while to figure out how to turn off the strobing … that now appears to indicate others are typing instead of the original animation that was much subtler and preferred.
