homepod ios 26.1 airplay error message

After having updated all my 4 Homepods to ios 26.1, i get error messages when trying to AirPlay from third party apps. Funny thing though, it works when using the apple Music app. Any thoughts what might be the issue? I have tried several third party apps but the problem remains. This applies to both iphone an ipad.
