After the 26.1 update "Widgets" is no longer an option in the CarPlay app
Carplay app has "Apps" but the "Widgets" option is no longer there. How do I get widgets back?

I also updated to iOS 26.1, and can still see Widgets in the CarPlay menu. So it's definitely not removed.
Try troubleshooting:
1. Disable CarPlay > Restart iPhone > then enable again, and see if Widget becomes visible.
2. Remove your car from CarPlay > restart iPhone > pair with your car again.
3. Long shot. Add a widget to your home screen. By opening the Widget selector on the home screen, and see if that "tricks" the widget menu back into CarPlay.
