New iPhone 17 pro bluetooth not supported on M4 Pro mini?

In the process of connecting the ProMax 17+ to my M4 Pro mini via bluetooth, I received the pairing unsuccessful, M4 Pro not supported? The 16 ProMax+ was and that's what I just upgraded from. Is there a fix?

Thanks,

Patrick

Bluetooth pairing between iPhones and Macs has never been supported.

Whatever you did with your Phone 16 and your Mac did not involve pairing them over bluetooth.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish by pairing them?

Except for personal HotSpot, pairing over bluetooth is to required for any feature between a Mac and an iPhone.
