  • Is your router broadcasting a 2.4Ghz WiFi? If so, you should create at least a 5Ghz only WiFi and connect to that network from your iPhone. The 2.4Ghz band has become too congested when multiple devices are using it and the band is also susceptible to interference that will cause dropouts. You change the WiFi network in your router settings.
  • Have you restarted your router by unplugging it for 30 seconds? I know users hate to hear this, but in some cases it will resolve the problem. Just last week I had a Video Doorbell that would drop the WiFi after a couple of minutes and go offline. After a couple of days of Factory resetting the doorbell and researching buying a replacement for $200, I finally decided to restart the router and the problem was solved.
  • Do you have a VPN installed on your iPhone? Simply turning it off will not resolve a network issue, and you would actually have to uninstall it.
