Pioneer error 02-60 on Apple Carplay

Since the update of IOS 26 im having a connection issue to apple carplay pioneer error 02-60 using a third party cable before used to be ok. Should i need a original apple cable? Third party cable works several times plugging in and out on the pioneer head unit.

It wouldn't hurt to try an original cable.


But before you buy a new cable, I would recommend trying to re-pair your iPhone with your Pioneer system. Delete the connection between your system and your iPhone.


Also delete the connection on your iPhone here:

Settings > CarPlay > "your car" > Forget this car.


Pair again with the same cable. If this doesn't work, you can also consider resetting your Pioneer system to factory settings, if it doesn't require too much setup.


Finally, check if your iPhone is fully updated. The latest version is iOS 26.1.
