Getting rid of spam calendar invites

My wife is getting spam invites on her calendar on her apple devices. A you tube video from early 2024 did not help, as it said that unsubscribe was an option when she clicked on the event and no such option comes up. I’ll appreciate a solution!

remove calendar spam from iphone 17.2 if unsubscribe isn't available I have phishing/Spam appointments scheduled to my iphone calendar, version 17.2. I read some previous instructions stating that I need to click on "unsubscribe." Unsubscribe isn't available on this appointment. I've clicked on Delete. It deletes and then re-adds the appointment. Please advise on how to remove these spam appointments.

See if you get any value from of Apple's suggestions in Delete spam calendars and events on iPhone which you can also use on your iPad.

None of the options suggested are available. For example, the suggestion was: “In the Calendar app, tap the unwanted event. Tap Delete Event. Or if you want to report an event from an unknown contact, tap Report Junk, then Delete and Report Junk.” That’s why I am saying the suggestion was not helpful.
