Since Tahoe upgrade, keyboard stop working intermittently

Hi!

Since the update macOS Tahoe 26.0.1 (25A362), there is a bug affecting both my built-in and external keyboards. I did not experience this issue with version 26.0.0 or previous (I have this exact setup for 2 years). The bug causes the keyboard to become unresponsive for several seconds to several minutes (both the external and built-in). When using the external keyboard, unplugging and reconnecting it usually fixes the problem temporarily, but not all the time, it can be a coincidence that the episode is just "fixed for now". However, the issue will reappear randomly, but mostly when I lock my screen. If I'm using only the built-in keyboard (when out of office for example), there is a chance I won’t be able to log in for several minutes when trying to unlock the screen.

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 26.0

If this with TouchID not responding— wait 8-10 secs or so ...(?) or minutes ! for it to become active.

This is a known bug in Tahoe— which I thought was resolved in 26.1

If shutting down and restarting does not resolve the issue...

You can try a SafeBoot Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support will sort many anomalies

Does a quick disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, third party system modifications and system accelerations are disabled temporarily.

Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.

Otherwise I would try reinstalling the macOS on top of your existing macOS to sort upgrade/update issue

TouchID is responding, that's the keyboard that is not responding. And it's both the macbook keyboard and my external non-apple keyboard.
