inking an active Apple Pay account to a child's Family Sharing plan

how do you link an active Apple Pay account to a family sharing plan instead?

Have a 12yo that was setup as an “adult” account but that has been fixed and now he is classified as a “child account”. When I go thru Family Sharing to setup Apple Pay for him, it says I can’t bc an Apple Pay account is already active…

Apple requires a minimum age of 13 for use of an electronic wallet (Apple Wallet app).

Changing an account from a child to adult or adult to child requires the assistance of Apple Support.
