Setting up shortcut to take video and saving it

I set up a shortcut to take video, so I can start taking video quickly in case of emergency situations.

I used Shortcuts app, and then added to the widgets. So when I click or tap the screen, on the bottom of the Lock Screen, flash light icon on the left and video icon on the right appear.

When I press the video icon, it goes directly to video screen and start taking video. It worked great! But after taking video, on the bottom of the screen it says “retake” and “use this video”. So I choose to use this video. But then, that video clip disappears, the screen goes back to the Lock Screen, and it doesn’t get saved in Photos. Why?

The video will not be saved because you need to add Save to Photos to your Shortcut. Once this part is added to your shortcut, you just need to tap "Use Video" after a record - and the video will be saved.

I have made the correct shortcut that works, which you can download here: Download Take Video Shortcut

If you prefer to create your own shortcut, do the following:

1. Open the Shortcuts app

2. Find your Take Video shortcut and tap the 3 dots

3. In the search box, type "Save to Photos" and select it

4. Tap Recents and select the album you want to save the videos to.

5. Tap Done.

Now your shortcut works!

Hello Apple Support,

I am trying to create a new Apple ID on my iPhone, but I received the message:

“This iPhone has been used to create too many new Apple Accounts. Please contact Apple Support to request another Apple Account to use with this iPhone.”

I don’t have an existing Apple ID and need to create a new one. My iPhone serial number is: [write your serial number here].

Could you please help me create a new Apple ID for this device?

Thank you very much for your support.

You will get more answers if you create your own thread. However, we are not Apple Support, but users like you.

But I can give you the answer here. You can create a maximum of 3 Apple Accounts on 1 device. That is why you get that message. If your iPhone was bought second hand, the previous owner(s) may have maxed out the number.

You can instead create an Apple Account here.
