I updated my Apple ID/primary email address but it hasn't changed in Find My. I'm trying to reset my Mac Mini M2 but can't because the details are wrong! There doesn't look like there's any way to change it to my updated ID.

What’s more, I’ve had to change it back once because the first time I originally changed it, it didn’t update the address in the default outgoing mail settings so I couldn’t send emails. The moral of this story is never change your Apple ID because it doesn’t work across all services.
