From the iPhone User Guide:

”Lockdown Mode is optional and should be used only if you believe you might be targeted by a highly sophisticated cyberattack, such as by a private company developing state-sponsored mercenary spyware.”

Does that describe your situation?

If not (likely), turn Lockdown Mode off.

If that does describe your situation (unlikely), then the above article explains how to relax Lockdown Mode for a specific app.

Lockdown Mode is really designed for people Very Very high on the world stage, who may be targets. Unless you're someone that important, it's unclear why you would be using it in the first place. But see this on Lockdown mode, which tells you how to enable it, which would be the same path for you to turn it off --> About Lockdown Mode - Apple Support
