i mac 24" verse mac book air and 32"display screen

Pros and cons of each? About the same price. Are there any significant performance advantages of one over the other.

I understand the portability advantage of the mac book air.

The 24" iMac has a high-PPI, 4K Retina screen.

To match the pixel density and sharpness in a 32" screen, you'd need something like Apple's 32" 6K Pro Display XDR – which at $4,999 USD is way too expensive for most people's budgets.

There are a number of 32" 4K displays that are much, much less expensive (below $1000, maybe even a few that are below $500) – but they don't have the same pixel density and sharpness.
