McAfee antivirus suggests my Mac is at risk

I am now getting messages to suggest I am at risk and need McAfee

Original Title: I have always understood that unlike windows, the apple structure protects from virusues etc. I am now getting mesages to suggest I am at risk

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 15.7

If you see these as Notification in the upper right corner of your screen, then all you need to do is go to Safari > Settings > Websites > Notifications, and remove every website you have allowed to send you Notifications. I would also recommend that anytime you visit a website to say No if it asks you if you would like to receive Notifications.
