When playing apps that show up on lock screen the clock is too small to read without glasses. Especially in the middle of the night. Is there a way to increase it like all the other iOS versions?

I assume you mean the cover art of what you're playing is taking up a lot of space on the lock screen, making the clock smaller. If you just tap once on the cover art, it will minimize into the player, and the clock will be normal size.
