Red battery icon with steady charging cable on iPhone 13

I have an iPhone 13 that has not been dead for 2 months and i have 2 charging cables. when i plug one in, it shows a red battery icon. when i plug the other one, it shows a red battery icon with a steady charging cable. it doesnt blink. this charger is also damaged. what is the meaning of this symbol and which one should i use to charge the phone?

You should always use charging accessory which is genuine Apple or certified by Apple.

You should sue the one where the red icons also showing the plug of the charging cable. This is the sign that the iPhone battery is charging. If the battery is completely dead, it may take up to 30min or longer, until the iPhone starts up.

If your iPhone or iPod touch won't charge - Apple Support


If the iPhone hasn't been charged that long, the battery might also be defective.

Has the battery ever been changed by Apple?
