Unable to pin group messages after iOS 26 update on iPhone and MacBook Air

I recently updated both my iPhone and MacBook Air to iOS 26 and am unable to pin group messages. I have the option to do so, but it is not working.

Group messaging option missing on iPhone 16 Pro Good morning. After reading through many posts on the issue of not receiving and slow sending of group text messages to Android users, I looked at on older iPhone I have and the messaging settings. Old phone has a group text setting, 16 does not. Seems like this should be an easy fix, Apple. I believe others have found this as well. I have been an Apple customer for over 30 years. It would be quite inconvenient for me to switch to Android and Windows now, but if this issue is not fixed soon, I will be seriously considering it. With aging parents and family spread throughout the country, group text messages are a vital tool for daily connections and communications. I would prefer not to have to introduce my mother to a new app, just to accomplish this. See pictures below to illustrate the difference. Top is iPhone 16 Pro. Bottom is older phone running 15.8.4 Seriously, Apple, as others have said, FIX THIS. :)

Unable to send group texts on iPad Air 2 to Apple and Android users after iOS 15.8.2 update Since the recent update of my iPad Air 2 to 15.8.2 I am not able to send group text. The users are mixed Apple and android users. I also recently changed my Apple ID password. I think I have updated it on all my devices. I have no problem on my iPhone 13 ios17. but outdated Mac is also having some problems. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
