Does AppleCare Plus cover accidental damage from chips on iPhone?

AppleCare+ does not cover cosmetic damage.

If you think that the damage to your phone is not cosmetic, then you will need to make an appointment at the Apple Store / Genius Bar or take the phone to an authorized Apple service shop to have the phone checked and inspected.

yeah I think applecare plus covers that if it affects the functionality of your iphone. otherwise, it just won’t.
