MacBook Pro won't charge or turn on, shows red battery icon

Over the weekend, my MacBook Pro has stopped working. When I plug in the power supply, I get the battery icon with a red stripe and the lightning bolt but it goes away and the computer doesn’t charge. I can’t get it to turn on when it’s hooked up to AC or without, but it will wake up enough to show me this icon. In the past few days I did have a couple of occasions where the computer just shut itself off, even though it appeared to have a significant amount of battery charge, and then I could wake it back up once I plugged in. The battery was was replaced in the last two years. But I’ve also had to have the USB ports replaced once one of the four USB ports hasn’t been working for more than a year but now none of them are. I’ve tried it with multiple chargers and tried the chargers on multiple devices.

i can’t check the model number but it’s one with the Touch Bar and four usb-c ports

FYI, you can get the exact model by entering the system serial number on the Apple check coverage page here (please don't post the serial number on the forum since it is considered personal information):

Personally I don't recommend repairing any Intel Macs for multiple reasons. The money spent on repairs is better put towards a new laptop.
