Help!! How do I stop receiving notifications from an Apple discussion in which I am no longer interested? I see no option to do so and feel like I am in the Twilight Zone. Going crazy. Desktop, updated. I am not sure if I block for that particular community question if all from Apple will be blocked. (The emails come on all of my Apple devices.)
Click on your profile picture in the right above corner, then choose "My Subscriptions", and click on the little cross behind a discussion you do not want to follow anymore, click on "Following" (which is the actual status) to stop getting emails for new replies.
After that you can follow a discussion again by clicking on "Follow"

Also in your preferences, you can select how much communication you get from Apple. Scroll down Preferences to find the section, "Messages from Apple," and check only the options you wish to keep:
Those are my settings and I have never been flooded with messages.
Thank you, though I don't want to stop all communication. Every time I uncheck as in your screen shot, the next time all are checked again. I do hit save. I uncheck everything but the last item. I don't want to block though I am not sure if that blocks all Apple communication.
