MacBook M1 FaceTime microphone not working

My MacBook's FaceTime is not working. MacBook is 2020 m1 chip. so there is some problem with my FaceTime mic. When I FaceTime somebody, I can hear the other person, but the other person cannot hear me. And there is no problem with my speakers, because when I use Snapchat on my laptop, I can hear the other person, and the other person can clearly hear me.

Microphone in FaceTime stopped working after updating to Sequoia 15.4 After updating my Macobook Pro M1 to MacOS Sequoia 15.4, the microphone on my MacBook no longer works for Facetime calls via iPhone. Microphone not working on Facetime So I have a Mac Mini with M2 Pro with Mac OS 15 (Sequoia) and an external Dell Monitor C2722DE with in build webcam, microphone and speakers. I can do video calls with Signal app without problems. However when I try to do a video call using Facetime the other side cannot hear me. So it cannot be a problem with my hardware or drivers, it must be a problem specific to Facetime. It seems like the microphone is switched off for Facetime. Does anyone have an idea what could be the issue here?
