Bluetooth Earphones Always Start at Max Volume on iPhone

I’ve been facing this problem for years now-

every time I connect my Bluetooth earphones to my iPhone, the volume shoots up to a really high level.

When I use the same earphones with my PC, the volume is perfectly balanced, so it’s clearly an iPhone issue.

I even tried switching to a new pair, but nothing changed. It’s annoying having to lower the volume manually every single time I connect them.

(rarely like very rarely, it sets the volume properly but i have got this trauma of checking the volume everywhen cuz if not then the music is blasted into my ears..)

Hey Hasiru,

It does indeed sound frustrating, I'd suspect that this is an issue with your iPhone's software.

Here are things that you can try:

  1. Check if your bluetooth earphone's companion app or any other app that could be messing around with the settings
  2. Check the shortcuts app, see if there are automation that is causing this issue
  3. Try connecting to your friend's iPhone and see if the same thing occurs

Hope this helps
