Is it possible to get a previous version of the clock app? The timer function is… problematic. It has been since they changed it awhile ago. For instance, if you set a timer and realize you need to look at something else real quick, then come back to the timer function, it has automatically reset to the previous time. That’s really annoying. There are other examples, but that’s one of them.

No that does not happen, unless you closed the timer.
Swipe completely up, or swipe to the switcher to, say Google something, then use thecapp switcher to come back, and the timer will have continued.
You must have misunderstood what I was saying because it just happened to me again yesterday. Sometimes I forget it happens and I will get frustrated by it but, yes, it happens. Go to the timer, change the time you want (don’t start it or close it) switch to another app (clock app still open in the background), then go back to it. It will have reverted to the time you had when you first opened it. I just tried it. It happens.

I agree with IdrisSeabright. You didn't set the timer, you navigated away from the timer, went back and it reverted. If you don't want the timer to revert, don't navigate from it and just set the timer you wanted. I don't honestly see this as an issue. Okay, I can replicate what you're describing. I'm not sure why it's a problem, though, if you haven't started the timer.
