Mission Control windows shrink and disappear when activated

My Mission Control has started behaving strangely. When I swipe up with three fingers (or use the keyboard shortcut), Mission Control activates as expected. However, instead of arranging the open windows for display, the app windows all shrink until they disappear. I can't figure out what's causing it and haven't knowingly changed any settings (I use Mission Control constantly for switching windows).

I assumed it must be a bug from the latest MacOS 26 update, but I can't find anyone else posting about this issue, so maybe it's my machine?

Has anyone else hit this?
