How do I fix the large blank space at the top of my iPhone 15 Pro screen after iOS 26.1 update?

Huge white blank space at top of phone. I have an iPhone 15pro and after the latest update I have the huge blank space. It literally takes up the entire top of my screen so the only way I know what I am typing is to shrink the keyboard down. I also had the problem yesterday after iOS 26.1 where my Facebook app disappeared from my phone, though according to the App Store it was still on my phone.

Try a forced restart.

• Press and quickly release the volume up button

• Press and quickly release the volume down button

• Press and hold the side button.

• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

Force restart iPhone - Apple Support (IN)

For the Facebook icon, swipe all the way to the right on your home screen to get to the App Library. Look for the app in there, then drag the icon back to your home screen.

Resetting your phone will not revert it back to a previous version of the operating system. You are stuck with iOS 26.1.

Do you have any zoom features turned on?

Well you were right. I had texts zoomed. Now I can barely see my keyboard and some website texts on my phone and I don’t get the huge white blank space. Whoever is in charge of these iOS updates should be fired. I guess it’s time to buy an android. SMH.

Dang. I wish I would have known that before I deleted it. But that is okay. I did do the swipe thing. Once I found it I deleted it and redownloaded it. So I got that figured out.
