Select all text on a webpage in Safari on iPhone for Accessibility purposes

In summary, for accessibility purposes, I require a straightforward method in iOS 26 for iPhone to select all text on a webpage in Safari. This functionality would enable me to, for instance, copy all text on a webpage. Currently, I am unable to manually select all text on the webpage using the drag handles due to its complexity. The ”Select All” option is only available when I am within a text field, but I find myself outside of a text field and simply want to select all text on a page to facilitate copying. On Mac, I can easily activate the Command and A keys to select all text. However, I am seeking a similar solution in Safari on iPhone, where I would like to have a persistent button that allows me to select all text. Are there any gestures or accessibility features that I can enable to achieve this functionality?

FilipOfficial ~ As you're familiar with Apple's Shortcuts app, consider using another custom shortcut via Safari's 'Share sheet' icon. Your 'Copy to Clipboard' shortcut would use three shortcut 'actions':

  • Get Contents of Web Page at Shortcut Input
  • Copy Contents of Web Page to Clipboard
  • Speak Text Okay, text copied.

...As the resulting text is unstructured compared to the original, you could add the ChatGPT action to adjust it.

Hello 6x6, thank you for your reply. The solution provided by the user "kamsongs" in the thread you linked does indeed work, but is a bit tedious and hard to do as it requires a lot of clicks and two-finger pinching actions. I think "Alancito" might be right that a shortcut might be the way to go, but thank you for giving me a tip about this possibility also!
