Should I use DoH and DoT for privacy and security

Do I need DNS over HTTPS (DoH) and DNS over TLS (DoT) on M1 Mac currently running 15.7.2 OS,

to improve privacy & security? I understand Apple has created DoH and DoT profiles to install systemwide on iOS and Mac.
