Hello,

I see you may have a disabled device or forgotten device passcode. If you see a waiting period you can try again after the timer ends. If you wish to proceed with resetting, or if it is disabled/security lockout/unavailable, refer to this support article for various methods that you can use to resolve this. --> If you see an iPhone, iPad, or Apple Vision Pro unavailable message or Security Lockout screen - Apple Support Which one you can use depends upon your equipment configuration. If you can use the iOS15.2+ method you may not need a computer.

You will sometimes be able to restore using an old passcode. Otherwise you will have to erase your iPhone. You can restore your iPhone from a backup after you’ve erased it via your iPhone or you can connect it to a computer to restore it directly. To use your iPhone to erase/use your old passcode:

  1. From your device's Lock Screen, try to enter your passcode until the "[Device] Unavailable" screen appears.
  2. When you're able to, tap Forgot Passcode?

3. Follow the steps to enter an old passcode

4. On the Security Lockout screen, tap Start [Device] Reset to confirm. You can only reach the Security Lockout screen if you have an active cellular or Wi-Fi connection and previously enabled Find My on your device.

5. Enter your Apple Account password to sign out of your Apple Account on your device.

6. Tap Erase [Device] to permanently delete all of your data and settings. You can also choose to keep your eSIM and erase your data, or to delete your eSIM and erase your data.

7. You can restore during the setup process.
