iPhone 11 keyboard completely freezes and forces me to restart phone, translate app and many features stopped working just within 2 days.

My keyboard randomly freezes and from there on I can’t use it until I restart my phone. If i try to use it in any app while it’s frozen it will immediately freeze the app too. Translate app also no longer works. Selecting text from pictures doesn’t work either. Searching for text in photos doesn’t work and will immediately trigger the frozen keyboard.

I have an iPhone 11 and I’m on iOS 17.4.1. I never wanted to update to iOS 18 because of the layout to the photos app and because I just never had enough storage. It’s constantly full and I can’t free up anymore I only have 64gb.

Even if I wanted to update and had the space for it, my phone is constantly stuck on “Checking for updates” so I can’t. I’d have to update to iOS 26 with my laptop because that’s the only version the program Devices offer but obviously it would destroy my iPhone 11 that runs with 64gb.

I have tried everything. So many things. I even used the reset all settings feature. Nobody else seems to have this problem so I’m so confused. This seems like a text-language related issue, some kind of system corruption. What can I even do in this situation?

It started off in Safari and did it like 5 times in one night but I could just restart Safari and it would be okay. But then the issue spread the next day and affected all my apps and completely froze the keyboard until i restarted my phone. And it just keeps happening randomly. This is so exhausting.
