Wallpaper icon/widget transparency issue

I recently got the IOS 26.1 update and before it I had my wallpaper with a dark tint for the icons which were able to see through and extra widgets with transparent background and you could see through it but after the 26.1 update my apps are tinted but with a solid black background and same for the widgets, you can’t see through them anymore it’s just a solid color. Can I fix this or did it just update like that cause I miss the old transparency 💔💔

Hard to say in this setting where we cannot see your device, but the 26.1 version added an option. Do Settings > Display and Brightness to find a switch labeled "Liquid Glass." Should be near the top.

Set to "Clear" if it is set to "Tinted."

Works for me.
