Never.

If the battery in your iPhone or iPad drains too quickly - Apple Support, especially the section If Battery Life is Less Than Expected After an Update.

Battery Draining After an Update:

Let's face it: All batteries are prone to failure. If they were perfect and lasted forever, then that's the only ideal fix for this, as in "making it never occur again". Who knows in ages to come if batteries will be no longer be a need. 🤔

2. Tap: Battery
3. Tap: Battery Health
4. View: [the percentage]
5. Is it 80% or less?  If so, it is time for a new battery.

III. Perform a Restart:

Try Force Restarting your iPhone. Save any information that need be. Then perform the restart.
