I have an iPhone 16 max and was used to scanning and emailing attachment using Notes with all my previous Apple phones.
Since upgrading to the 16 my scanned documents won’t send in email. It says to large, even after saving the scanned images in Files and compressing the file.
I’m on Wifi when trying to do this.

Your iPhone 16’s Notes scans are likely too large because of higher default resolution or Mail attachment limits. Fixes include: reducing scan size, exporting and compressing via Files, using the Print-to-PDF workaround, sending from another email app, or updating iOS. Most users solve the issue by reducing the scan size before saving or using the Print → pinch-out PDF trick.

After reading your suggestions, I tried to send the zip file through Chrime (my original attempts were through my default choice Safari)……. It sent. So it seems it’s trying to send it through Safari that the problem is. Will there be some way I can adjust the current properties that may be stopping this, in settings??
