How long ago did you update? Keep in mind that after you install an update, your phone is working hard behind the scenes to reindex millions of bytes of data, which can slow things down for a few days, depending on how much data you have on your iPhone. Available memory can be another issue, so open Settings > General > iPhone Storage - how much available space do you have? You should keep no less than 10-12 GB of free space available at all times. And finally, your Battery Health can be a factor. Open Settings > Battery > Battery Health - what does it show there? If at or below 80%, the battery needs to be replaced by Apple.
