I want to downgrade my ios 26.1 to ios 18.x.x on my iphone 13

Hello everyone, this is Sajid here. I bought iPhone 13 brand new inactive in Bangladesh. It was on iOS 18 point something and I recently updated it to 26.1 but it’s frustrating and I’m not liking it. The battery is draining and so far I’m not liking it and I want to go back to iOS 18 .

In the IPSW website there is no signed version of iOS 18 but there is a option of 26.1 .

is there any chance there would be 18.7.2 because the last update of iOS 18 was 18.7.2 .

so there might be a chance for the signed version to get 18.7.2?

or should I lose all hope?

Is there any way to go back?

Sorry, no way to go back. Apple stopped signing 18.7.2 just a few days after it was released on November 5.

Even if you could go back.....(you can't).....you would still need to have an "Archive" backup that you made.....before.....iOS 26 was installed on your phone.

Apple does not support downgrading iOS or iPadOS unless it is a beta version of software.

No. Only data is stored in a backup, not the operating system.

Reverting to a previous back would only wipe out your newer data and replace it with older data while keeping iOS 26.1.

Changing the file name would in no way revert you to a previous version of the operating system, not sure about your thought process on this one.

Though I backed up the the 26.1 so if I ever can go back I can restore with the file name changed to 26.1 to ios 18.xxx

That would not be possible.
