pop up after logging in on websites.
I log in with passwords app and after logging in I get this pop up to save my already saved password. Pop-ups are disabled in Safari and I still get this
i only need to fill the used email address and this happens in many sites but not all.
Is this a bug or some setting I have incorrect?

It's trying to link the stored password to your account on that website. Since the popup is being generated by the iPhone directly instead of from code sent to it, disabling them won't affect it.

I have the very same issue. I think it started with iOS 26.
This „popup“ appears *after* the login information was automatically filled in, so the password manager does know the username.
In addition, even if you enter the username and choose to save it, the popup will appear again some time later.
I’m pretty sure this is a bug (and rather annoying). Would be glad if there was at least some workaround.

But why would it want to do that as Passwords app already knew which password to fill in?
Because it doesn't know the username.
