iPhone 7 Plus screen recording capturing only the last 10/15 minutes

I am trying to screen-record from my IPhone 7+ (iOS 15.8.5). I wait for the record button in the control centre to turn red and all seems ok.

When I look at what’s been recorded, it seems to have only captured the last 10/15 mins.

I thought it might’ve been an issue with the low power mode so I switched this off but didn’t seem to make a difference.

Any advice/suggestions very welcome

Thats a vintage phone and it may run out of RAM. Does it record a 9 minute screen recording?

Ty LD150. It is a trifle old and I believe it has 3GB of RAM.

I was able to record the 1st 9 mins worth.

Do you think that’s my limit ?

I’ve had other suggestions such as

a) ensure my phone is 100% charged

b) switch off low power mode (it’s normally on)

c) ensure I have 3-5 gb spare iphone storage (I’m currently only have 2.5 gb spare so looking to delete some files)

I increased the available iPhone storage to 6gb (now 26 of 32gb used) I tried recording again and it still starts about 10 mins from the end (program was 40 mins in total). The resulting 10 mins-worth took up approx 2gb.
