How to fix Safari/Keyboard data entry issue on iPhone after last update?

something in Safari/Keyboard changed on my iPhone for data entry & I can’t identify how to fix it or turn it off. Can you help?@

If I tap a field to fill it goes to this new look & it won’t allow me to scroll the suggested addresses as I type each letter. But it also does this on every field entry including the calendar. It takes me 20 minutes to do what I could before in 5.

I basically also don’t what the terminology is to know how to ask Apple for help.

it’s actually doing it currently while I’m trying to type information into this field…
