Xcode 26 Simulator crashes

Since my team upgraded to Xcode 26.0.1, the Appium tests we run on CI have been extremely unstable. We run 3-4 simulators on several Mac minis (one M1, two M4 Pros, both have the same issue), most of the time only 2 of the Simulators load up properly, with the rest showing nothing but a black screen on the Simulator, occasionally a dialog will pop up saying "Springboard has crashed". I've tried to shut down and erase via the xcrun commands, but this problem won't go away!

Kill CoreSimulator, erase all, clear caches and reboot.

If that fails, remove stray /Library/Developer/PrivateFrameworks/CoreSimulator.framework or perform a clean Xcode reinstall.

In CI, reduce parallel simulators / use older iOS runtime (18.x) or downgrade Xcode 26 to 25.
