AirPods Pro 2 hearing aid function only one ear SOLVED

Just wanted the community and future searchers to know how I resolved this issue with my AirPods Pro 2. I set the AirPods to Transparency mode, then chose "Update Hearing Test Results." I chose the original test results and did whatever was asked. Both AirPods now work when both are inserted - formerly inserting a second AirPod would turn both AirPods off.
