iMessage not working iphone17. I recently switched to freedom mobile; everything was fine for a couple days, now it won’t send iMessages, only sms

iPhone 17, iOS 26

Did you try to turn off iMessage in the settings and enable it again after a restart?

Have you tried sending imessage with your apple id email to regular apple users on iMessage?

If the above option works, please contact Freedom mobile to do imessage activation using your GSM allocated number. It may be due to number porting as well, so you may need to wait.

You should contact the official Apple Support about it, they can look into your personal data from their side and see if the phone number is registered for iMessage correctly.

I've turned it off and on, and tried from my apple id, which did not work.
