iPhone 15 unable to send MMS messages

I cannot send mms messages on my iphone 15. Latest os, everything else is as should be. I constantly get error message to enable mms messaging. I followed the instructions and found that it was already enabled, so unticked it, turned phone off and on, re enabled mms messaging. No change. I have reset 'network settings' checked viurs scan etc. I have recently returned from o/s where I used an e-sim. I have deleted the e-sim and I seem to think that this issue arose at that time. Could this be the issue?

Your MMS stopped working because deleting the overseas eSIM likely corrupted your carrier APN/MMS settings. To fix it, refresh carrier settings, manually check MMS APN, ensure your physical SIM is the active line, toggle iMessage/MMS settings, reset message routing, and ask your carrier to re-provision MMS if needed. This is a common and easily fixable issue.
