Apple TV+ no longer streaming content on PS5

Hello,

About 3 weeks ago I noticed that content would no longer play on Apple TV through the PS5 app (perhaps aligning with a recent app update that changed the UI).

I have had Apple TV for years and this has never been an issue before. Suddenly, all I get is a spinning wheel, regardless of it is a trailer, a movie I own or have rented, or a free episode of a show.

I also have the Apple TV app on my TV, and content plays fine, as well as on my phone, laptop and iPad. After some trial and error, here is what I have already tried:

* Restarting my PS5

* Logging out of the app and back in

* Deleting the app and redownloading it

* Toggling off and on several HDMI settings

* Forgetting the PS5 as a device on my iCloud

* Rebuilding my PS5’s database

Nothing has worked. I would like to use the app as intended. I am at my wit’s end with this issue. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
