Cannot access Zoom blur background on MacBook Pro

Can’t access the blur background on Zoom on my MacBook pro, instructions say go to stop video button , when only have start button, any suggestions?

Make sure both your macOS and Zoom app software is up to date.

On my MacBook Air w Sequoia, the steps are:


If setting up the app, click Zoom > Settings... > Video and effects > Virtual backgrounds. This when not in a meeting.


If starting a meeting, find the "Blur my background" button on the intro screen.


If in a meeting, click the caret (up facing arrow) next to the video camera icon at the lower left of the screen and select "Blur my background".
